I love Hebrew, too! I learned to read Hebrew and to sing prayers in Hebrew in my New Jersey synagogue's "hebrew school". But I learned to love Hebrew from my Ulpan teacher, Ruti, at Kibbutz Netzer Sereni in Israel in 1977-78. I felt like I was being spoon-fed Hebrew--it was that easy. I still have the machberot from those wonderful Ulpan classes.
Now--to think of my favorite Hebrew word...
